At 6:00 PM on December 26, the first anniversary gala evening for celebrating the founding of the School of Mathematics was successfully held in the lecture of Student Activity Center on Peiyang Park Campus.
At the beginning of the gala, Gao Kaixin, who were awarded the honorary title of the “Model Student of the School of Mathematics” as the student representative sent his birthday wishes to the School of Mathematics. Later, Zhao Xin, the Party Secretary from the School of Mathematics presented the certificate for the winning representatives and delivered a speech for the party. Zhao Xin said that the founding of the School of Mathematics is a milestone worth remembering for us. He also stressed that the School of Mathematics and mathematics discipline is a significant link for Tianjin University “Double-top Construction”. We should establish self-confidence for Tianjin University, the School of Mathematics, Mathematics discipline and ourselves. The development of the School of Mathematics in future attribute to the hard work of each people from the School.
The teachers and students gathered together to have a beautiful night with enjoying wonderful performance which given by the students and teachers from the School of Mathematics.
People from the School of Mathematics tell the past, the present, and the future in their own way. The development of the School of Mathematics cannot be separated from those who devote themselves quietly behind the scenes, and the development of the School of Mathematics need the concerted efforts from all of people.
